Clerics of Morr are being killed. Souls cannot be properly dedicated to Morr if there aren’t enough clerics. This leaves the deceased open to poaching by necromancers and the forces of Chaos.

Morr has plucked a handful of souls from his domain to go forth and stop the murders. Due to the inconsistent nature of spiritual travel between planes, specific physical targets cannot be chosen. The souls end up in the same geographic area, but in random mortal bodies.

Morr will appear to the avatars in dreams due to his lessened power. He has little influence in the area due to the lack of clerics.
